On the Gram: Pastel Homes you need in your life

Let's face it, it's miserable outside, cold, dreary, and we're not allowed out anyway. So grab a coffee, get comfy and lose yourself in this collection of pastel havens. They certainly brighten our mood.

First on our list is Jay's gorgeous pastel townhouse in Orkney. This dreamy home is a mix of vibrant pastel hues with bold colour combinations and funky fittings.

From a lilac staircase, to a mint kitchen accented with mustard stools, this beautiful home brings nothing but joy. Personally my favourite room is the bathroom, the soft mint mixed with brass fittings and abstract artwork looks like the perfect place to unwind after a day of work.

Next up is Kate's 1930's 'jazzer-upper' in the North East. Filled with pastel pinks, mint greens, baby blues and lilacs, there's not a radiator in this gaff that hasn't been given a pastel makeover, and we're here for it.

The soft colours are complimented with bold fabric patterns, exposed brickwork and beautiful lights. My favourite feature of this gorgeous home is the amazing feather lamp, a top ebay find in my opinion.

Jess and Ricks colourful pad first caught my eye at the beginning of last year when they posted their baby blue log burner and I've been a fan of The House that Colour Built ever since.

I've watched their bold moodboards become a reality as they fix up this 1930's property into one of the most colourful homes on The Gram. I love the way they've teamed existing features such as beautiful wooden floors with their pastel palette. I can't decide what I love more; the baby blue log fire or the pink shower?

As a fellow lover of plants and pastels, I LOVE Catherine's home. The rainbow shelves, the pastel pink deck, the soothing mint bedroom, can I just move in now please?

I love the way Catherine teams plants and flowers with her pastel decor, they give it such a welcoming feel. It's the garden that is the real winner for me, I love the pink decking and the baby blue fence, it just feels so summery and fresh, I just want to grab a mojito and sit here all day.

Last but not least is Helen's dreamy home. It was Helen's beautiful kitchen that made me fall in love with this house, the combination of the amazing blue fridge teamed with pink units, is just fabulous.

I don't know what it is about pastels, but there's just something so ethereal and soothing about them. I love that so many homes are incorporating these colours into their palette, long may in continue.
